Guided Financial Planning, One Step at a Time
Financial planning is more than creating a report or recommending investments. It is an ongoing process of understanding your goals, exploring your options, making thoughtful decisions, and adapting your plan as life changes.
Our role is to guide you through that process—one step at a time.
1
Introductory Conversation
30–45 minutes
Complimentary
No Obligation
Every planning relationship begins with a conversation.
We'll learn about your goals, your questions, and what brought you here. You'll also have the opportunity to learn about LuminPath Planning and decide whether we're the right fit for your needs.
2
Discovery
Once we decide to work together, we'll begin gathering the information needed to understand your complete financial picture. This may include:
Income and cash flow
Retirement accounts
Assets and liabilities
Investment accounts
Insurance coverage
Tax returns
Your goals and priorities
Business information (if applicable)
Estate planning documents
3
Creating Your Plan
Using the information you've shared, we'll develop personalized recommendations designed around your goals and circumstances.
Rather than looking at each financial decision separately, we consider how investments, taxes, retirement, insurance, cash flow, and other planning areas work together.
4
Refining Your Plan Together
We'll meet to review your plan together. This is a collaborative discussion—not simply a presentation.
We'll explain our recommendations, answer your questions, discuss alternatives when appropriate, and refine the plan until you're comfortable moving forward.
5
Implementation
Once you're ready, we'll help you put your plan into action.
Some recommendations can be implemented right away, while others may be carried out gradually over time. When appropriate, we'll also coordinate with your CPA, attorney, insurance professional, and other trusted advisers.
6
Ongoing Review
Financial planning doesn't end after implementation. As your life, family, career, or business evolves, your financial plan should evolve as well.
We'll continue to review your progress, revisit your priorities, and adjust your plan whenever life calls for it.
Throughout the Planning Process

Questions You May Have
The introductory conversation is complimentary. It's an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your goals, and determine whether we're a good fit to work together.
I primarily work with individuals, families, and small business owners seeking thoughtful, comprehensive financial planning through every stage of life.
Yes. Tax planning is an important part of comprehensive financial planning. As an IRS Enrolled
Agent (EA), I help clients evaluate tax-aware strategies and coordinate tax planning with their
broader financial goals. I do not prepare tax returns, but I'm happy to work closely with your
CPA when appropriate.
Absolutely. Financial planning works best when your professional advisers are working together.
When appropriate, I'm happy to coordinate with your CPA, attorney, and other trusted professionals to help ensure your financial strategies are aligned.
Every client's situation is different. Depending on your needs, services may include financial
planning, investment management, insurance solutions, or a combination of these. We'll discuss
the approach that's most appropriate for your circumstances during our initial conversation.
Not necessarily. Financial planning is often the best place to start. Depending on your needs,
our work together may include planning, investment management, insurance solutions, or
coordination with your other professional advisers.
Yes. Meetings can be held virtually or in person, depending on your preferences and location.
Financial planning is an ongoing process, not a one-time event. The frequency of our meetings
depends on your needs and where you are in the planning process. We'll review your plan regularly and adjust it as your life evolves.
If we decide we're a good fit to work together, we'll discuss the next steps and recommend a planning process based on your goals, priorities, and financial situation. There is no obligation to move forward.
